As 2018 comes to a close and we look down the barrel of New Year’s in Kansas City 2018 we’re here to bring our Kansas City area neighbors access to the best events to help you and those special people in your ring in a new year ripe with possibilities.

New Year’s Swingin’ Eve

Drop by Historic Union Station and step back in time while you welcome the future. The city’s premier New Year’s bash features one of the hottest swing bands around – Dave Stephens and the KCJO 7 – as well as a speakeasy, party favors, hot appetizers, and a midnight champagne toast. Hurry! Tickets sell out fast.

When: December 31, 2018, Doors Open at 7:30 PM

Where: Union Station, 30 W Pershing Rd., Kansas City, MO


Visitors will come from Independence to Olathe to celebrate New Year’s at Winterfest now in its first year. The party starts early, to accommodate the younger crowd and features live music, a visit from Snoopy, and midnight fireworks to welcome 2019 with a bang.

Zoo’s Year Eve

The Kansas City Zoo offers a unique celebration for Overland Park  area families who don’t want to stay up until the wee hours. Drop by and watch the animals celebrate, dance to an interactive DJ, and hop into the photo booth and create a special memory.

When: December 31, 2018, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Howl at the Moon

Start the evening off with a dinner buffet the rock to your favorite tunes performed live by some of the most talented artists in the area and finish strong with a midnight champagne toast with a few hundred of your closest friends.
